About
Rinat Goren
Rinat Goren is a California-based artist whose encaustic paintings are inspired by the power of human thought.
Born in Israel and rooted for most of her life in California, Rinat has always been drawn to observation and creation, expressing herself through art from a young age. She creates layered abstract and figurative works that honor our unique ability to think, reflect, make decisions, and act with intention.
Rinat's curiosity about systems, patterns, & the human mind finds expression through color, shape, geometry and freedom in her art.
Her work invites viewers to connect and appreciate our powerful ability to think and to problem-solve.

The Encaustic Process:
An Ancient Medium, A
Contemporary Voice
Rinat Goren works with encaustic, a painting technique that blends melted beeswax with pigment, applied in layers and fused with heat. This ancient process, dating back to the 5th century B.C., allows Rinat to build richly textured surfaces that hold both depth and emotion. While rooted in history, her approach is distinctly contemporary, using this timeless medium to give voice to the layered nature of human thought and experience.
